Everlance Review Bottom Line:
I love this thing.

First, let me preface that this is not a paid review, I just really like the Everlance app. I have been using the free version of the app for the last year. (Don’t forget to check out the initial (more in-depth) review.) I logged over 400 miles of business-related miles and it was super easy. Granted, 400 miles isn’t a lot for most but this is just a side gig and every little bit helps.

Everlance

The best part was when I went to do my taxes. I hit the export button and it sent me an email with a CSV file with all the detail for my records and a total that I entered into my tax paperwork. All told it took me maybe about 90 seconds total to do that part which beats the heck out of paper logs.

I will admit, I have not used the expense tracking option really at all yet though. I am accustomed to sticking the receipts in a folder with a note on them for my bookkeeper (which is a family member that does it for almost nothing).

Going Forward

I will continue to use this fantastic app to track my business mileage. My goal this year is to try out the expense tracking feature, but old habits are hard to break. I may even spring for the paid version of Everlance for the unlimited automatic trip tracking. Expect a review if that happens.

What about you?

What do you use to track your miles? Do you like it? I would love to hear in the comment section below.
